How do I get it installed? Do you come out?
You don't have to wait for anyone to drive out. We install GridGas for you remotely, wherever you are in South Africa: we connect to your PC with AnyDesk while we talk you through it on a WhatsApp, Google Meet or Teams call. You see every step on your own screen, nothing happens without you allowing it, and you end the session when we're done. In the same session we load the ready-made price list and import your own clients and prices.
What if GridGas isn't for me?
Try it for 30 days. If it isn't for you, we'll refund you in full. Your first licence key covers those 30 days; once they've passed, we send your full-year key, dated from the day you bought, so you don't lose a day of your year. Sign up by 31 December 2026 and you also get 8 training hours free in those first 30 days, for you or your staff, on a call during office hours.
Do I need internet to use it?
No. GridGas runs entirely on your PC. You only need a connection when you email a document to a client.
Does it work on my phone, tablet or Mac?
No. GridGas is a Windows desktop program for a Windows 10 or 11 PC or laptop. Most installers keep it on the office laptop and do quotes and invoices from there.
Can I bring my existing price list and clients?
Yes. GridGas comes with a ready-made gas price list of 160+ items, so you can start quoting on day one and adjust prices as you go. Your own clients and prices import from Excel or a CSV file, and setup includes a one-hour guided import. Paper records, or spreadsheets that need a lot of tidying, can be captured for a quoted fee. Or start fresh: clients are added as you quote them.
How does the CoC tracking work?
Each CoC is loaded against its job. It stays valid until you mark it invalid and give a reason, because a CoC lapses when the installation changes, not on a calendar date. The dashboard flags certificates that need attention, and the CoC Register report lists them all.
Where is my data, and is it safe?
On your own PC, in an encrypted database. An encrypted backup is made every time you close GridGas. Copy one to a USB stick or cloud storage so you have a copy off the PC. It stays encrypted there too.
Can my staff use it too?
Yes. Everyone who works on the licensed PC gets their own login, as an administrator or a standard user, and the audit log shows who changed what, and when.
What support do I get?

What happens when my licence year is up?
GridGas reminds you 30 days before your licence ends. Your renewal price just keeps pace with inflation (CPI + 3% on the year before), and we confirm it with you before your licence ends. Renew, and you carry on exactly where you left off: your data stays on your PC and in your backups. If the licence runs out, GridGas won't open again until it's renewed.
What if I get a new laptop?
Restore your latest backup on the new PC with your recovery key, then email us. We'll move your licence to the new PC for the rest of your licence year, once you confirm GridGas has been removed from the old one.
Is it only for gas?
GridGas is built for gas, electrical and plumbing businesses, so it suits you if you do more than one trade.
